For Bjorn it was horribly cut short and myself, limited, but I have to say that the

vast expanse and openness of the Australian coastline and the welcome of the people make it somewhere that I am sure we will all make our way back to at some point.
Thanks to Scotty (Mckercher) for his impeccable hospitality and for showing us some of the treasure that is his home, the locals for welcoming us so wholeheartedly and Avis in Welshpool for sorting out our car rental needs.
All that remains to be said is G'day mate, and until the next time, enjoy the sailing where ever you are!

After a long flight (more than 20 hours) and an even longer drive with our Super Sonic Motorhome - max speed 90 km/h - from Perth to our camp, it was a great feeling to arrive and get out on the water straight away. The first days we had great "down the line" windsurfing, and a couple of even greater surfing sessions. But then the wind and surf dropped dead.
During these first days we finished our activities on the water with speargun fishing in the afternoon, and all of us caught good tasting and nice sized fish.

Thanks to God - as we were starving after so much action during the day. The evenings were spent at the campfire, all friends together, relaxing and enjoying the catch of the day.

During my second speargun fishing session I unfortunately had this pretty nasty accident. After a three hours ride I reached the nearest hospital. But the local doctor suggested that I should continue straight away to Perth. A specialist was called as it was my foot that was injured, and I flew straight out of the desert.
I spend 8 days at the hospital in Perth and in the very best hands. And luckily enough my injury didn't turn out to be as terrible as assumed.
From Perth I went directly to Austria into a rehab centre.
This time my "Search" trip turned out a little bit different than I expected, but "what doesn't kill you, makes you even stronger"
Saludos Bjorn
